Congratulations, Mavericks!
Congratulations to everyone for the great performance at the North Carolina State Concert Band Music Performance Assessment this week. Our Concert Band earned Straight Superior ratings in Grade V and received a lot of great comments. Lots of hard work went into this, so thank you to the staff and students who put forth the effort to reach this level of performance. Once again congratulations, and I look forward to preparing some great music for the Spring concert.

Congratulations to Michael Fourre for making All-State Honors Band this past weekend. Michael finished first chair on bassoon and last year he was first chair in the Middle School All-State Band on Bari Sax. Michael becomes the first of many students at Marvin Ridge who will sit in the state's top band. Again, Congratulations Michael.
