Band Booster Meetings will be held the Thursday
after the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the MRHS Band Room. Thursday Sept.
9th is
the next meeting and will be held in the MRHS Auditorium prior to the concert. All are welcome!

will only be reimbursed if approved by the executive board IN ADVANCE!!!
Expenditures without prior approval may not be reimbursed. If you have any
questions regarding this policy, please contact a member of the executive board.
Also,
just a reminder, there is a $10.00 fee for any returned checks. Thank you!

Marvin Ridge Band Booster Membership
Band Booster Membership is a vital part of our band program at Marvin Ridge. MRBB is a parent organization that supports all band activities. All parents of our band members are invited to participate in the Band Booster activities and to attend the Band Booster meetings. Membership allows you a vote at our general meetings. Your annual fee of $35 helps to fund the numerous expenditures that a program of the nature encounters. We thank you in advance for taking an interest in our program and welcome you to MRBB. Please fill out our membership form (click here) and place it and payment in either of the band boosters boxes located in each of the band rooms.

Marching
Band Camp is upon us! I, like you, cannot wait to
see what our children and their directors have in
store for us this year. Please check Charms for
posted calendars and dated information. Remember
this information is always subject to change, so if
you have any questions please send me or any other
board member an email and we will get you an
answer. Our email addresses are on the website.
I, once
again, want to thank the board members that have
served out their term. Jim, Denise, and Dawn, it
was an honor to serve with you. We had a great
year. Mary Carolyn, Pam, Karen, Beth and I look
forward to the coming year with great anticipation.
We have a lot of work ahead of us, but our
organization can accomplish great things
together. Thank you to everyone that has
offered assistance. You will be called upon!

Marvin Ridge Band Boosters Mission Statement
The Marvin Ridge Band Boosters
is an organization comprised of students, parents and business and community
leaders who have a vested interest in the success of the band programs at Marvin
Ridge High and Middle Schools. These programs include Color Guard, Concert Band,
Jazz Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Wind Ensemble, Winter Guard and Winter
Percussion.
The primary purpose of the Band
Boosters is to assist the Director of Bands in the development of excellence in
music education, performance skills, and leadership in our students. The Band
Boosters accomplishes this by providing financial, logistical, and moral support
in a balanced fashion for all these programs and the students who participate in
them. |
